Services

3D ACM panels that give a facade depth.

Faceted, folded and sculpted ACM panels turn a flat wall into a facade that plays with light and shadow. They work on new buildings and on retrofit, and they go on the same type of system as a standard ACM wall.

A facade with relief

Each 3D ACM panel carries its own geometry: pyramids, diamonds, folds and facets. As the sun moves, the shadows move with it, so the same wall reads differently from morning to evening. Pattern, color and finish are chosen with the architect for each project, from metallic silvers to wood-look, as in our VERA project in Boston.

For new buildings and retrofit

3D ACM panels can clad a new building or give an existing one a new face. They also work as an accent, framing an entrance or a corner next to flat panels, so a project can use depth where it matters most.

Installed like a regular ACM wall

These panels can be installed on the same type of system used for standard ACM walls. The substructure stays familiar to the crew, and dimensional areas sit beside flat panels in the same facade. We confirm the exact system with the design team for each project.

From model to wall

Every 3D pattern is modeled before it is cut. We verify field conditions, draw the panel layout and check the pattern at corners, joints and transitions. Panels are fabricated from approved shop drawings, identified, and tied to an installation map, so the crew installs what was approved, in the right order.

What is included

  • Cladding for new construction and retrofit
  • Faceted, folded and diamond relief patterns
  • Same type of installation system as standard ACM walls
  • Custom colors and finishes, selected per project

Questions

About 3D ACM Panels.

Can 3D ACM panels be used on an existing building?

Yes. They work for retrofit as well as new construction. We review the existing wall and the system with you before recommending a solution.

Do 3D panels need a different installation system?

No. They can be installed on the same type of system used for standard ACM panels. We confirm the system for each project with the design team.

Can 3D panels be combined with flat panels?

Yes. Dimensional panels are often used as an accent within a facade of flat panels, as in the photos on this page.

Are ACP and ACM panels different?

No. ACM and ACP are two names for the same product family: aluminum skins bonded to a core.
